I had a wonderful stay at Riad Palais des Princesses in Marrakech, where the peaceful setting is just a short walk from the lively Jemaa el-Fnaa square. My room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and spotless, though it could get chilly at night. The breakfast had a nice selection of Moroccan specialties, but I found it a bit light for my taste. The spa was a highlight, offering great value treatments. Overall, this place is charming and well-priced for a unique Marrakech experience.

7.2/10

My stay at the hotel was quite an experience. The location is just a short walk from the main square, and I appreciated the clean and well-maintained environment. However, the dining options weren't as great, especially breakfast, which felt quite limited. Additionally, the spa services left something to be desired as they felt rushed and lacked intimacy. Overall, I found good value for money, but improvements could be made in dining and spa services.

Rooms

The rooms were lovely and well presented, featuring luxurious chandeliers. However, I did notice a large wet spot on the ceiling and a bit of an unpleasant smell inside. The air conditioning worked great, keeping the room comfortable in the humidity.
Service

The service was amazing, with staff welcoming me with mint tea and biscuits. They were genuinely helpful and offered terrific local advice for dining, which I greatly appreciated.
Location

Situated near the main square, the hotel's location is fantastic for exploring Marrakech without losing the tranquility of a quieter area.
Dining

Breakfast was just okay with limited choices, and I expected a bit more variety considering the ambiance surrounding the hotel.
Facilities

The facilities were decent, but the spa experience was a bit rushed and felt lacking in privacy.

I had a lovely stay at this riad, enjoying its beautiful décor and rooftop terrace. The central location provided a unique experience, but navigating through the narrow streets back to my room can be tricky. While the room was comfortable, the lack of hot water was a downside. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, albeit with some minor hiccups.

Rooms

The room was beautifully decorated and spacious enough, with air conditioning that worked well. It was clean, comfortable, and had all the necessary accessories for a pleasant stay.
Service

The service was excellent, the staff was quick to help with our requirements, including arranging transportation. They really went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience.
Location
7.0
The riad is ideally located in the Medina, making it convenient for sightseeing. However, the winding alleys can be confusing, so I'd recommend taking a photo of the route back.
Dining

Breakfast was a pleasant surprise with a good variety of choices, including eggs, sausage, and fresh pastries. It was delicious, though I wish there could have been a bit more variety over my stay.
Facilities

The facilities include a lovely rooftop terrace, but I didn't notice many other amenities like a spa or pool. The overall atmosphere was relaxing and cozy.

I had a mixed experience during my stay. While the location of the hotel is fantastic, just a short walk to the main square, I found the rooms to be quite small and lacking some basic amenities. The staff were generally polite, but there were issues with service and dining options that left me wanting more. Overall, it’s good value for money, but certain aspects could be improved.

Rooms

Service

Service was okay, but there were moments where I felt the staff could have been more accommodating.

The Riad offers a charming and traditional experience right in the heart of the Medina, with comfortable accommodations and attentive service. However, it's essential to be prepared for some challenges, such as navigating the narrow pathways and some issues with amenities, like inconsistent hot water. Overall, it's a delightful place to immerse yourself in Moroccan culture.

We stayed on the 2nd floor, and while the decor was lovely with rose petals covering the bed for our arrival, the room was a bit dark and the steps can be a bit tough in the heat.
Service

The service was outstanding; the staff was very attentive, especially Malek, the night manager, who always offered assistance when needed.
Location

The Riad's location is fantastic, just a short walk to the bustling Jemaa El Fna square, allowing for a genuine experience within the lively market atmosphere.
Dining

Breakfast was quite nice, featuring a good selection that included eggs, sausage, and fresh fruits. It was definitely one of the better breakfasts we had during our trip.
